These terms cover how tutoring, pricing, payment, refunds and cancellation work with Elysian Tutors. Last updated July 2026.

A lesson is one-to-one and 60 minutes long, delivered online. Every new family starts with a free 20-minute intro call to meet the tutor before any payment. There is no subscription and no registration fee.
The online checkout prices are £40 per GCSE lesson, £55 per A-level lesson, and £75 per admissions lesson. A 10-lesson block is £360 for GCSE, £495 for A-level, and £675 for admissions. The price is confirmed before you pay. ELEVATEOS EDUCATION LIMITED is not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added to these prices.
You can buy a block of 10 lessons and save 10 percent against the single-lesson rate. Blocks never expire. Each paid block is recorded as lesson credits for the named family. Any lessons in a block that you have not yet taken are fully refundable at the single-lesson rate, on request.
If your first paid lesson is not right, tell us within 48 hours and we will give you a full cash refund, or a free lesson with a different tutor, whichever you prefer.
You can cancel or reschedule any lesson free of charge with at least 24 hours' notice. A lesson cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice may be charged in full, because the tutor's time is reserved for your child.
Payment is requested only after we confirm a suitable tutor, subject fit and lesson timing with you. Payment is by debit or credit card, handled securely by Stripe. We do not see or store your full card details. Your checkout confirmation is sent after Stripe confirms payment. Bank-transfer payment can be arranged on request and is confirmed manually.
Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and, for distance purchases, your cancellation rights. If you ask us to start lessons within the normal 14-day cancellation period, you may be charged for lessons already delivered.
If you refer another family who books paid lessons, we may offer a thank-you reward. The current reward and its conditions are confirmed to you at the time.
